Day detail and rescheduling

Open a day to see everything in it, tick off what got done, and move a time for that day only.

Clicking a day on the calendar opens its detail: the habits and recurring tasks expected on that date, with the option to log what got done right there.

It is the fastest route to fixing the past — reopening the Habits screen and navigating to the date takes more clicks.

What you can do in the detail

  1. Mark a habit or a recurrence as done on that day.
  2. Untick it to remove the record, if you marked it by mistake.
  3. Adjust a habit's time for that day only.

A day with nothing expected says so plainly, instead of showing an empty list with no explanation.

A day's detail, with the habits and recurrences expected and the logging checkboxes.

Rescheduling without breaking the routine

Change time for today only moves a habit's time on that day alone. The routine stays the same tomorrow.

This exists because the alternative is worse: editing the habit to 8pm because today you could not manage 7am means changing every following day because of one. The adjustment has an expiry — it holds for the day (or the week, depending on the scope you pick) and lapses on its own.

Restore undoes the reschedule and brings the original time back.

Common questions

I rescheduled and the alert came at the old time. The alert follows the day's rescheduled time. If it came at the old one, check that the reschedule was applied — it confirms when saved.

Can I reschedule a future day? Yes. That is the most useful case: you already know Wednesday will not work at 7am.

Does this affect the habit's streak? No. Doing it at another time on the same day counts the same.
