What the AI sees of your data
Exactly which information reaches the assistant — and which does not.
To answer questions about your day, the assistant receives a slice of your data. The slice is limited and always the same:
- Up to 50 open tasks — title, status, priority, and due date.
- Events for the next 7 days — title, start, end, and whether they are all-day.
- Your habits and each one's frequency.
- Your name and your time zone.
Beyond that, it sees what you write in the conversation and the contents of items it reads or changes at your request.
What does not go in
Old completed tasks, your account's full history, payment data, and the contents of your external calendars beyond the events in that seven-day window.
Where to adjust it
Under Settings → AI Assistant you control the assistant's behaviour and whether quick chat conversations are saved. Under Settings → Data Management there is Clear chat history, which removes every conversation with the AI.
Processing
The text is processed by an external AI provider to produce the reply. Your data are not used to train models. The formal details are in the Privacy Policy.
Limits and plans
The assistant is in the Pro plan. Without it, none of your data goes for AI processing.
Common questions
Does the AI see my passwords or my card? No. Authentication is through Google or Microsoft — DayAlly stores no password — and card details live with the payment processor, out of the assistant's reach.
Does it read my email? No. The connection to Google and Microsoft is calendar only, and read-only at that.
I want to erase everything. Settings → Data Management has history clearing, habit clearing, and full account deletion. Before that, it is worth exporting your data.
