Message quota and what happens when it runs out
How many messages you get, what counts as one, and what keeps working past the limit.
The Pro plan includes 200 AI messages per month. During the 14-day trial it is 50, covering the whole period. Trial quantities may change.
Each request you make to the assistant counts as one message — through AI Chat or the global chat bar. Its replies do not count, and the automatic briefings do not either.
When the quota resets
On your monthly billing date, as soon as the payment is approved: if you subscribed on the 20th, the quota renews every 20th. If the charge is declined, the AI stays paused until the payment goes through, and the quota renews then.
During the trial, the quota does not reset: it covers the 14 days. And what you used in the trial does not count toward the Pro quota — when you subscribe, you start with the full 200 messages.
Where to watch it
Settings → Subscription, under Cycle usage, which also shows when the quota renews (during the trial, Trial usage), with separate bars for messages and for voice.

What happens when it runs out
Only the AI stops. Everything else carries on: tasks, calendar, habits, categories, alerts, creating, editing, and deleting all keep working normally until the quota renews.
Common questions
I have quota left over. Does it roll over? No. The quota belongs to each monthly cycle.
Can I buy extra messages? Not today.
Does a long question use more than one? No. What counts is the number of messages sent, not their length — which also means splitting one request into five messages costs five.
