Account and plan

The 14-day trial and your card

The trial starts without a card; the AI asks for a validated card, with no charge. And what happens when the trial ends.

Every new account gets 14 days of trial with the Pro plan's features, AI included in a reduced form: 20 messages and 5 minutes of voice across the period.

It starts without a card

The 14 days count from account creation. Tasks, calendar, habits and recurring tasks work right away, with no card.

When the card is asked for

The first time you use the AI — chat, voice or briefing — DayAlly asks for a card to validate. It is not charged: the validation exists because every AI message costs money, and it is how we confirm there is a person on the other side, not accounts in bulk burning through that quota.

What you asked the AI is kept: after the validation, the sentence returns to the field and you just send it.

When the trial ends

You pick a plan under Settings → Subscription. Without a choice, the account becomes read-only: nothing is deleted, nothing is charged, and nothing can be created or edited until you subscribe.

Where it lives

Settings → Subscription shows the Free trial state, when it ends, and the month's usage.

Common questions

Will I be charged when the 14 days are up? Not without you choosing a plan.

I already used the trial with another email. The trial is once per email. And a card that already unlocked the AI on another account does not unlock it again.

I don't want to use the AI. Do I need a card? No. Without the AI, the whole trial goes by with no card. At the end, the Essential plan, which has no AI, is the natural continuation.

Can I subscribe before the trial ends? You can, at any time.

My card was declined during validation. The validation runs a check with the issuer. Prepaid cards and single-use virtual cards commonly fail here.
