Changing plans, cancelling, and reactivating
How to do each of those three things, and what happens to your access in each case.
All of it happens under Settings → Subscription.
Changing plans
- Open Settings → Subscription.
- Under Compare plans, click Switch to Pro or Switch to Essential.
- Confirm the change on the payment processor's screen, which opens with the chosen plan already selected.
Moving up to Pro is immediate: you pay only the difference for the days left in the cycle, the renewal date stays the same, and AI unlocks as soon as the confirmation arrives, within seconds.
Moving down to Essential changes nothing right away: you keep Pro until the end of the cycle you already paid for, and the screen shows Switches to Essential on [date]. After that, AI chat, voice and insights stop, without deleting anything you already have.
Cancelling
Under Settings → Subscription, click Cancel subscription. It opens straight onto the payment processor's confirmation screen; confirm there. Access continues until the end of the paid period — the screen starts showing the cancellation date instead of the renewal date. After that, the account becomes read-only.
Reactivating
Go back to Settings → Subscription and subscribe again. Everything works again in the state you left it.
Payment pending
The Payment pending state means a charge failed — expired card, limit, issuer block. Click Update card, which opens straight onto the payment method screen; access continues while the retry has not happened.

Where it lives
Settings → Subscription. The change plan, cancel and update card buttons open the payment processor's portal already on the right screen. Manage payment opens the full portal, where the card, invoices, and receipts live.
Common questions
Do I get a refund if I cancel mid-month? There is no pro-rata charge: you keep access until the end of the period already paid.
Where are my invoices? In the portal, behind Manage payment.
I want to delete my account, not just cancel. Settings → Data Management → Delete my account. It is irreversible — export your data first.
